Training Aids

Phelps Safety also offers training aids to help new and experienced miners and engineers understand and visualize airflow and ventilation in an underground mine. With the ability to build a variety of floorplans, your mine can be modeled and recreated at a benchtop scale.

A recent example, shown here, is a model of a Room and Pillar mine with the ability to add stoppings and redirect airflow. A mini smoke machine and intake and exhaust fans help visualize ventilation.
